Readability is a way to transform any article on the web into a clean and comfortable reading view, in order to give you a distraction-free reading environment. Designed as a mobile/web app, Readability zaps online clutter and saves web articles in a comfortable viewing opportunity. The writers and publishers of the content receive 70% of the membership fees. Thus, you not only are able to use a device that makes it easier to read, but can support the writers and publishers of your favorite articles.
Developed to find a way to compensate content creators while improving the online reading experience, each time someone subscribes or uses the app to save content to their respective device, the author receives a portion of the membership fees. Working on all major phones and tablets, the application detects the device being used and outputs a reading format that is optimal for your usage.
“Readability turns any web page into a comfortable reading view right in your web browser. Too busy to read right then and there? Readability makes it simple to save your favorite articles for reading later.”
For publishers of content, the setup could not be any easier, simply add your domain and login information and you’re on your way. There’s no contract, no coding involved and no minimum commitment. We at New-Startups.com just began testing it out and will update this post to share our feedback from publisher’s perspectives as we get more and more familiar with the application.
If you’re a Publisher, we strongly suggest giving it a try, not only is it currently free to setup, but there are actual revenue opportunities.
