Stop looking in the “Rear View Mirror” at life. It’s like driving a car and just gazing in the rearview mirror if you’re continually brooding about a prior occurrence.
You won’t be able to go anyplace quickly! As you go down your life’s highway, keep an eye out for opportunities. The past is only relevant if it is the only thing you think about. It’s less important where you’ve been and more important where you are now and where you’re heading.
Breathe completely and deeply, and open your eyes to the beauty all around you to rebalance your emotions. Take a time to notice and absorb the positive in your surroundings. Accept, anticipate, and embrace change by approaching events and people with an inquisitive, nonjudgmental attitude.
3. Ask your mind
It is time to allow your desires to come forward to your mind “Get out of your comfort zone and dream.” Start seeing your aspirations and prospects by using your imagination. Make a clear picture of the actions you want to take or the things you want to accomplish.
Get out of your comfort zone and create a list of activities that make you joyful, then do them. What could possibly go wrong? Make a new decision if your first one does not seem right. If it doesn’t work out, learn from your errors and build some resiliency in the meanwhile.
In order to develop a “New Perspective,” grab the opportunity to learn and grow from positive and negative events simultaneously. If you’re being honest with yourself, there aren’t many decisions in life that are as important as this one. “Leap and the net will materialize.”
4. Laugh, have fun and try new things
Take laughing seriously and put it to use. You are the star of your own episode! Allow yourself to be the star of your own life comedy and laugh at your blunders. The Cancer Treatment Center of America has undertaken research into the health benefits of laughing.
Studies have found that periods of laughing assisted to relieve pain, lower stress-related chemicals, and strengthening the immune system in participants after evaluating them before and after a hilarious event (i.e., a comedy film). Allow laughing to cure you and raise your endorphins by “getting out of the box and dreaming.”
