There have been numerous services that tried and failed at successfully being adopted as an add-on to maintain an archived life of our web search activities. Archify is the newest member that hopes to win where Slife, Hooeey, and Infoaxe failed. The biggest difference is that the personal archive monitor is all encompassing by drawing in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Gmail, etc. to combine web and personal social history.
Archify can be added to various devices to one account to ensure a synced archive of data. While the browser plugin captures a screenshot of the text on every page you see and analytic algorithms score searches along with time spent on pages to throw back some data analysis. Past competitors would just store URL’s and titles, Archify makes it easier to be reminded where you saw that design or fashionable winter scarf with a visual reminder.
Would you be interested in archiving your personal web and social experiences for those annoying moments when you can’t remember where you saw one or all of that dynamic trio: X, Y or Z?
