This Christmas why not brighten up your work life space all year round with the latest from the fine people at Busy Building Things. Professionally designed and illustrated to inspire every creative, founder and general lover of things on their wall, each piece is accompanied with a simple and inspirational message.
These designs aren’t your usual kitty poster inspirational messages; these clever illustrations come with universal messages that are both relevant and impactful. “The goal with this series was to do something a bit more colorful to convey no-nonsense, kick you in the butt type motivational messages” says Creative Director, Robleh Jama. “We want our designs to literally punch people in the face with a fresh uppercut of inspiration. We want people to identify with BBT as a brand just for them that’s all about championing and celebrating the dreamers & doers. We want to remind and motivate people to keep making their ideas happen again and again.”
The new series by Busy Building Things has been labeled “Make It Happen” and is less type heavy compared to the series they started with. These prints communicate single concepts using illustrations but sticking with the theme of bold and universal action-oriented themes. You’ll find quotes like “Execution is Everything” with a guillotine for artwork, “Now is the Time” with a clock and the word “Now” being the only possible time on the face to name just two of the six.
“Design is at the core of entrepreneurship/startups. There was a time when you built something and then made it look pretty because the idea of building something was hard enough. Now, everyone can (and should) build something of his or her own. You’re seeing this huge trend of involving design much earlier in the startup process because today, you can’t build something amazing if you can’t make it look nice.” ~ Robleh Jama
Each print is $20 or $40 if you want it framed. The Busy Building Things artwork has found a home in the offices of Apple, Google (check out the Instagram by Kevin Rose), Facebook, Fab, Shopify, Mailchimp, Flipboard and Github to name a few, with an affordable price tag you should have one hanging in your work domain as well.
