When our team visited Spain in 2009 we fell in love with Valencia. Rich history, beautiful architecture and people, artistic passion and of course the food, it felt like the city where all the “cool kids” would come from with a laid back attitude inviting you to stay forever. We knew it wouldn’t be long before the startup scene would sprout.
Tattoonie Temporary Tattoos is the idea from the minds of Enric Alepuz, Tristan Esparza & Paula Duart, three young friends from Benifayork (near Valencia). They wanted to relive the fun we attained as 80’s babies opening a bag of Hostess to find that Transformer temporary tattoo in a little baggie covered with salt. After consuming the bag of chips it was time to wet the tattoo and inevitably stick it on any part of our bodies. Like a Transformer it was like we transformed into kings feeling empowered in an absurdly genuine childish way with our colorful temporary prints.
After reminiscing of those times, the trio recognized the level of poor designs in the world of temporary tattoos today and wanted to change that. Bringing in talented artists from Spain and from their own creative minds, Tattoonie brings unique limited edition temporary tattoos with a fun artistic style everyone will love, young or old.
Single tattoos cost €3 and come with 2 units, while packs come with a diverse collection and range from €10 to €25.
