Scoopinion is a web app that brings you the most pertinent stories, which are prioritized, based on your interests. The sources of the news and headlines that arrive in the app are from those you trust the most. Pooling news worth reading. But once it’s all pooled, what do you do with it, there’s no way to read it all? Luckily, Scoopinion features a story that it believes will be a read you will gain the most out of.
You can curate stories from Harvard Business Review, The Guardian, New York Magazine and many more. Not only just a personalized magazine, detailing information you want to know about from various sources, it also features a ‘Favorite Authors’, ‘Top Scoring’, and ‘Just In’ filtering.
The application also works with a Firefox and Chrome plugin, which will follow your reading habits to compile analytics on your preferences. Serving not only readers, the tool also has incredible opportunities for journalists. Uncovering new channels of information on topics related to what they may like to write about, or making them aware of news that their readers are finding interesting, Scoopinion adds a lot of value to content aggregation and discovery.
“All the stories you discover at Scoopinion are verified by analyzing the behavior of likeminded people in the Scoopinion community. The add-on follows our readers’ engagement with stories. So, we’ll only deliver a feature story to you after we’re sure it’s worth reading.”
