Remember the Seinfeld episode where Kramer sues a coffee company because their coffee was too HOT (a reference to the McDonald’s coffee case)!!!? We’ve all experienced, a piping cup of java after a long day of discussing the next move for lean startup success to only feel the needle like pain of a burnt tongue from a coffee that’s just too hot to consume.
The by-product of drinking coffee that’s just too hot, a tongue that probably feels like gritty sandpaper that ruins the next few days. Sure there are common recipes to cure the newly attained discomfort, or you could of just checked the temperature of the coffee before taking a sip. Better yet you can grab the latest from Brando, a travel mug that displays the temperature of your beverage so you don’t have to figure it out the burnt-tongue-way.
For $38 the new gadget has a built-in thermometer, which reports back how hot or cold a beverage is in the insulated mug. The temperature is then displayed with color-code and digits so you never drink a cold coffee or a scalding hot tea ever again. If Kramer had the temperature-sensing mug he would never had a case against the Java World for serving beverages that are too hot.
