The Nest took machine learning and applied smart-technology to ensure our homes are temperature controlled effectively at all times. That same logic is now being applied to our trash. The Enevo makes the disposal problem and over-flowing trash bins a controllable problem by notifying authorities when garbage contains are filled up. More importantly the system learns and becomes smarter over time, in order to create an even more efficient workflow to trash collection.
A large neighborhood park can have a number of trashcans dispersed throughout to help prevent littering from everyone. But when a trash collector comes through, they stop at each garbage can and at a set time and day in the month, regardless of the fill capacity status of a bin. Sometimes there will be mounds of trash, other times there will be next to none, more to that, each trash can will have varying amounts of garbage, making for the collection process to be inefficient.
The Enevo One Garbage Sensor is a smarter way to handle garbage. By easily being placed in trashcans, the small puck-shaped device analyzes and shares data to build a smarter waste management system. These stats will be able to be graphed to predict when trashcans are most likely to be full. That means fewer trucks on the road using less fuel and better routing, which helps everyone.
