Are you a sneaker afficionado, lover of shoes or searcher for that pair of 93 Jordan’s? If you are, you may have just found your newest favorite website, welcome to Sneakerpedia. Powered by Foot Locker, this encyclopedia of ‘kicks’ is the world’s first sneaker archiving project to fuel the obsession of sneaker lovers around the world.
Currently in just beta phase, the website will utilize crowd sourcing to archive every single shoe, trainer and/or sneaker in their collection to develop a home to learn, share and find new sneakers. Utilizing the large collections that fans, celebrities and sneakerheads already have, Sneakerpedia encourages users of the site to take pictures and upload their collections with the opportunity to tag and provide information / memories about the sneakers to understand why they are unique and create an archival list of world’s sneakers.
