Grabbing a ride from a colleague or friend headed into work at the same time and in the same destination has been happening for years. In the 90’s and 200’s there was a heavy marketing push for more carpooling to occur with many startups popping up as third-party initiatives to support. But over the last few years fewer startups have sprouted to help tackle the cause for a better environment through shared drivers.
Comovee, is a startup in that exact field that helps companies create their own system to turn co-workers into co-drivers. Instead of having to deal with an organization outside of their own, employees can jump on board with their employees branded Comovee carpool system to enable ridesharing.
“Comovee allows companies to set up their individual carpool platform with their own look and feel. They do not have to worry about maintenance or training efforts, user support is included. Access is browser-based and fully integrable into the company’s existing Intranet environment.“ says founder Sven M. Sawatzki
The benefits of carpooling go beyond environmental, it helps create commodore in the workplace, saves everyone money, and builds for a happier workforce. An organization can couple that by making sure breakfast is served every morning at the office and realize a fulfilled set of talent.
