The Gecko is a gesture control addition to your smartphone to make it even smarter. Each motion that the guitar-pick sized gadget makes can be corresponded to a phone action – just like keyboard shortcuts, but with gestures. As long as the gadget and phone are within Bluetooth connection distance you can have the device control music, trigger a camera or make an emergency call.
The creators have some extraordinary and adventures use case scenarios as well: it can be associated with motion when your bag gets moved, to find keys, or implemented as a leash in case your pet gets lost. Not accessible at your local electronics store, but can be had on Indiegogo. Gecko has already surpassed it’s $50,000 goal, you still have the time to grab yourself two of these smart accessories for $40.
