The Crayola ColorStudio HD, partnered with Griffin Technology, is a way for us at New-Startups.com and countless others to relive a nostalgic moment from our childhood. With the advent of gadgets and technology being all encompassing within the lives of not only adults and teenagers but also the adolescent youths of today, The Crayola ColorStudio HD will give everyone a chance to “stay within the lines”. Coloring has been a staple in every young minds life, and now the ColorStudio has adapted that activity into today’s tablet opportunities – by making the iPad into a coloring book.
Working with the iPad, the ColorStudio uses a digital stylus, the Crayola iMarker, which, as the name suggests, acts like a marker, without the ink smudging onto your palms. The stylus also can output styles of crayon, pen and paintbrush and distinguishes differences between finger uses and iMarker coloring.
The iMarker will begin selling the spring of 2011 and sell for $30, a very reasonable price to give every child the chance to create colorful masterpieces on the iPad, yet capture the fun of coloring, painting and drawing on paper.
