We thought Searchifi was a great idea worth sharing earlier this month, for good reason. The startup would empower you with updates specifically for what you’re looking for. Described as the “evolution of Search, RSS, and Google Alerts into one product.” The web application sends you prompts when something meaningful happens to a product or subject that matters most to you.
Hagglemate does a similar service but specifically for deals. Users simply input what they want, put some additional details and their email. Hagglemate then responds within 24 hours, usually a lot quicker. The service looks for the best deals and delivers it to a users inbox instead of having to scour for it themselves.
“Whenever a user wants an item, be it a plane ticket, a camera, a television, or a gift for their mom, they just submit it to Hagglemate. We use our scripts and knowledge of deals on the internet to find the best possible deal. When we send it back to you, we guarantee that you will save. The user has to do absolutely ZERO work! It’s like us giving you free money. Hagglemate is the only deal site that finds the deal for you. We give out only the best, and no fluff. “ Says founder and creator Ruben Pierre-Antoine.
With Searchifi and now Hagglemate popping up as curated searchers more are bound to pop up over the course of the year. But are these services you’re interested in? Does an application give you confidence in finding the deals best for you?
