CivilHub’s mission is to upgrade democracy and take it to a higher level in your local communities, nationally and internationally. Their goal is to build the world’s biggest open source civil platform that will give users tools to facilitate communication and improve cooperation among each other. This narrows the communication gap between citizens, local authorities, and NGOs which brings them all together to make positive changes.
Once logged into CivilHub, you can introduce ideas for what you would like to change in your neighborhood. Then other people can vote whether they support your idea, and you can see the identity of everyone who is involved and voted. You can pin you idea, or discussion on a map where everyone can see it.
The CivilHub platform works with any community. You can use it for your housing complex, neighborhood, village, city, region and state or even in your country.
For example, a user can propose an idea to build a new playground in a neighborhood and instantly, the community and local authorities can respond to that idea and start to take steps to implement it.
