Video Business Introduction
In a few sentences, tell us what your start-up is all about
Mishi invokes the power of you. It helps you ‘clear your mind and improve your well-being with therapeutic music and sound exploration coupled with captivating meditative motion visuals.’
The combination of audio and visual immersion lets you tap into the innate power of your mind and harness your inner resources. Change comes when you release yourself from negative externalities and allow yourself to enjoy the experience. Play with the sights and sounds, explore, and calibrate. The process becomes truly effortless and even indulgent.
With as little as 10 minutes of daily practice, you can unlock a world of emotional, mental, and even physical healing.
Improved sleep, reduced stress, enhanced memory, clearer communication, deeper focus, emotional release, less fatigue, and for some, even physical healing.
When was your startup founded? And what stage is your startup currently at?
We were founded at the start of 2022 with a release on IOS. We have just released our first Android version as of February 2023. The model is Freemium, with no ads and paid subscription for premium music.
Tell us about your team, the key team members, and their roles.
Founded by myself, David Hughes. We are bootstrapped with a small team and development partner in India.
If applicable, what is your growth like? And what milestones has your startup achieved so far?
It’s a tough market going head to head with B2C propositions in the music wellness market. We currently have 10,000 downloads, with over 150,000 plays on IOS.
We are a very recent entrant to the Android market, so currently, no numbers to share.
Our conversion to download and, in turn, conversion to premium is excellent.
As a bootstrapped start-up, we just need to find routes to a larger audience.
Why did you choose this particular idea and concept to build your start-up on?
Wellness apps typically provide meditations, some sounds, and stories. This ‘guided’ relaxation is not what I wanted. I simply wanted to hear real music compositions and visual imagery, without any narration, that I could configure to suit my own mood.
Do you have any customer feedback on your product and/or service that you could share?
All reviews on the Apple app store have been 5 stars. We also capture reviews within the app for music, which have also been a joy to receive. All are 5 stars.
Are you looking for funding, or are you open to partnership opportunities, if so, what’s the best way for people to contact you?
Yes, I would love to hear from anyone who sees the potential and wants to get involved.
