Jobyourlife is a new social platform launching in May that simplifies how you search for talented people. Developed because the founders found it difficult to find talented developers and designers in their own city on networks such as LinkedIn and Monster – Jobyourlife makes it easier to locate the people you need in your own city and interact with them, sharing all your know-how.
Founded by Andrea De Spirt, alongside partners Mattia Signorini and Francesco Fonte, Jobyourlife is a team with very diverse backgrounds that utilizes their international work experiences to simplify the human recruiting industry. Andrea has lived in Venice, New York and Milan and studied Philosophy, which he ended to begin work on this new business idea. Mattia is a writer who has published novels and believes in digital media as the best form to express creativity and Francesco rounds out the partners as the technical lead. The Jobyourlife team uses their diversity to build an interface that will make finding a near-by developer, designer or electrician as simple as possible. Andrea tells us:
“Jobyourlife can help a lot of people that wants to share their talents: workers and students, but also those looking for work, housewives and retirees who want to get back into the workforce.
Jobyourlife will let you interact easily with interesting people that you don’t know yet in your own city, and users will be able to show and share all their know-hows. Every person can’t be reduced to a curriculum vitae, it’s limiting.”
Going through LinkedIn can sometimes be a visual nightmare with all the information readily available but sometimes feels overwhelming. Jobyourlife is working on an interface that will make sharing your talents easy to view, read, understand and find. Hopefully it can help founders find their next lead developer or designer.
