Stilla photos are something we’ve never seen before in an app. The photo transformation the app performs is representative of a 3D crystal object and will make you go “how the hell did they do that”.
The app works by having you take multiple pictures in various directions. Stilla then remembers the direction you were looking in when the image was taken and blends the photos together to document a moment in time. Their website tells us:
“These images become facets of an interactive, three-dimensional object. It looks a bit like a crystal but feels more delicate, like a memory. It’s like holding a picture in your hand again. And when you start to turn it, the light will change and one image will blend into another.”
