With the NBA playoffs, Euro Cup and soon the Olympics kicking off, it could not be a better time to be a sports fan. But, if you’re like many of us going to a sporting event means scouring for last minute seats to sold out events – to only find out when you get to your eventual nosebleed section, empty prime-time close to action seats are going un-used.
Pogoseat gives fans the freedom to upgrade their seats during a game on their smartphone. Usually this process means sneaking down to the lower level, finding a couple of empty seats and then praying and hoping that an usher doesn’t try to embarrass you by booting you back up to your original seats. Pogoseat helps fans upgrade in-game while giving sports teams the opportunity to give their fans the best possible experience.
Not all teams for every possible sporting event has joined up to use Pogoseat, but there is no reason for them not to be a part of the web application in the near future. The opportunities of maximum use of prime seats, more engaged fans, and increased gate sales means soon you’ll be able to hop seats and get closer to the action in-game.
