Adaptalux is a patent pending adaptable miniature lighting studio that allows for an infinite amount of lighting environments to be created in an effortless and inexpensive way all under one product. This gives lighting control and creativity back to the user, allowing them to create fantastically unique lighting for images and videos with complete freedom.
Built with macro photographers and videographers in mind, Adaptalux utilizes modular design, allowing the user to build their environment with three simple parts: the control pod, lighting arms, and effect components.
Because of Adaptalux’s ease of use and flexibility, users have more control over the number of light sources and their color and brightness, subject placement, diffusion setup, and the direction and angle of the light while shooting in any environment. It can be used on a camera, mount, or on it’s own giving the photographer multiple options to get the best shot possible.
The makers of Adaptalux are also planning on developing an app where you can view other user’s videos and lighting setups giving you more ideas and a community resource to help you take your macros to the next level.
Check out Adaptalux on Facebook, Twitter, and most importantly read more about this project on their prefund page for Kickstarter, where you’ll soon have a chance to to get one for yourself.
