If there was an AirBnB for bathrooms what would it be called? AirPnP of course, users of the new app get the chance to pay to pee in a usually beautifully affixed washroom. Launched during Mardi Gras partygoers can find themselves searching for a near by private toilet in an otherwise festival where bathrooms are hard to find or must be attacked with a full body suit.
The AirPnP web application solves a problem for many people that need to relinquish their bladders while letting residents and businesses rent out their private commodes for a fee. The site has expanded pee locations beyond New Orleans now with spots plotted in New York, Paris, Antwerp, and Asia. Each listing allows for comments and ratings, and if you don’t decide to use the application to find a place to pee at the very least read some of the comments, surely they’ll leave you chuckling.
Users can beckon on GPS to find a washroom near by and costs we saw range up to $5. Toilet users can then pay directly through the site or via cash once they reach the “entrepeeneur’s” location. Just when we thought another type of AirBnB site couldn’t be created, this one comes through with a useful application of getting pee’ers off the streets and into a clean bathroom.
