Why do kitties on YouTube get tens of millions of hits? It’s a question that never ceases to cause amazement, but then again how can you stop watching one once it’s on? On Catmoji it’s, you guessed it, all about cats! Disrupting from Startup-Up Chile, the website lets you share and discover cat pictures and videos. And like this video and this one, the site will somehow trance you into scrolling and never ever leaving the friendly, cute and cuddly kitties paraded on the site. As their mission states, Catmoji wants to make the Internet a better and happier place with cats because the Internet loves cats.
Founded by Matthew Phiong and Loo Wan Koe, Catmoji is the only catmunity (cat community) worth noting and using to create a catavatar or to earn unique cat-like badges to take your love for cats to the next level. For those that just want a private place to house their kitty pics that exists too but why deprive all of us whom are hypnotically paralyzed by cats.
All in all, the site is a fun and quirky way to share your cat’s life through pictures and videos with others that share a similar passion. The site is well designed and has a lot of stickiness if you’re a cat lover.
