CUB Systems, a company specializing in smart home solutions, announced that they have developed a smart switch (Flipswitch) that is based on Bluetooth Smart technology. Because Flipswitch uses Bluetooth, it does not need a hub. Flipswitch connects directly to your smartphone and uses 95% less power than conventional smart switches and has a greater range than typical WiFi hubs in all environments.
Flipswitch is planning on developing the following functions:
- 7days timer
- Remote On/Off
- Flip mode (please see Personal Customization)
- Sleep mode (please see Personal Customization)
- Proximity sensor
- Simple interface
- Scan rate (less battery draining)
- Count down timer
- Alarm Mode
