What if the images you see on any website anywhere had their own timelines or stories? You would be able to view its history, comments, sources, notes, links and credits anywhere it was – that’s the monumental undertaking powering Stipple.
Stipple lets anyone add an image to their platform via URL, site or blog, social media, online store or image uploader, and once an image has been added the magic truly begins as outlined in the video below:
If you own the image you can claim it and always attribute it to yourself, at the same time interactive content can be linked to an image to reveal advertising, locations, additional information or stories about what you’re viewing. The concept can be easily added by the everyday blogger or online publications because the platform also is able to break down engagement / reach analytics to further understand how imagery is affecting readership.
Stipple has seen great funding successes and looks to not affect readership in an evasive way at all. It’s definitely worth looking into for possible ways to further interact with readers and something we’re thinking of adding in ourselves. Would you be yay or nay for seeing Stipple on New-Startups.com?
