In a few sentences, tell us what your start-up is all about!:
GOGODAVE is a startup in the recruitment sector.
It connects professional talents to their number 1company to work for. Talents select their number 1 company to work for, explain their reasons behind and share a document explaining what they can bring to the organization.
Corporations can surf among the pool of talents, who identify their company as their best place to work, as well as the ones willing to work for direct competitors.
When was your startup founded? And what stage is your startup currently at?:
November 2015
Who are your competitors? And what is your start-up’s competitive advantage over them?:
No competitor exists, only alternatives.
Alternative to GOGODAVE is the current recruitment, processed via head-hunters, job posting, applications on corporate website. The mole of applications, the similarities among CVs (everybody has a master, speaks several languages, worked in international environment…) make the current system inefficient if not, to a certain degree, useless.
We believe that the main corporate recruitment focus should be on attitude (the true desire to work for that company) and skills (what can you really do for that company).
We believe it is easier to learn aptitude than to change attitude. We believe that attitude speaks louder.
Let us know a bit about your team, who are the key team members and what is their role?:
Francesco De Santis: 10 years experience in corporate world. Marketeer with strong financial acumen able to translate consumer insights into new product/service.
Gianluca Tumiatti: Corporate international profile. Vivid passion for start up and for new trends and consumer needs.
Why did you choose this particular idea and concept to build your start-up on?:
Let’s face it; the recruitment market doesn’t work.
Candidates with perfect matching to job descriptions are rejected before the interview. Talents, who clearly know which company they would love to work for, never get a chance to tell it to their HR Managers. Head hunters are asking for fees to simply meet candidates.
Talents recruited by a company are leaving after few months, realizing that it is not the right environment for them.
Let’s face it; the recruitment market doesn’t work.
How big do you think you can get? Why? And how you are planning to achieve your goals?:
GOGODAVE is the first in market company, proposing to revolutionize recruitment from a CV/Experience base focus to an attitude focus.
The market is proposing to acquire is the current corporate recruitment. Globally.
Are you looking for funding or are you open to partnership opportunities, and if so, what’s the best way for people to get in contact with you?:
Partnership followed at this stage include business school, career coaches, HR specialist, corporations.
