Organic Food is an important aspect in the lives of everyone, but sometimes those looking to cultivate don’t have the assets necessary to get the job done. Landshare is a place that lets those with land an opportunity to connect with those who have a passion to cultivate home-grown food. Launched in 2009, the community has now grown to well over 55,000 growers, sharers and helpers.
Landshare is for those that want to grow vegetables, but don’t have anywhere to do it, those that have spare land and are prepared to share; those that can help in someway (share knowledge, tools, etc.). Being efficient and sharing of land is what grows communities; Landshare brings that ideal to the forefront. By supporting the idea of freeing up more land for growing, Landshare gives those looking to become novice farmers (in the smallest way) a platform to meet, discuss and share.
