Pinnatta is yet another new startup looking to change they way we communicate by altering our workflows with a mobile focus. The app, whose name is pronounced the same way as that of the candy filled characters we as kids whacked with a stick to feed our sugar urges, is available for iOS and Android to allow users to send fun, personal and interactive greetings to their friends and family.
Each Pinnatta message is different and unique, thus differentiating itself from other messaging apps. Messages are delivered based on your own creativity with tons of ready-to-use content for special events like birthday’s, get well moments, anniversaries and seasonal holidays to name a few. Unlike regular communication apps, Pinnatta is for the special moments because their personalized touch points.
The very dramatic video showcasing the application gives a sense of what’s possible. Users can send birthday greetings that have an interactive moment, send a coffee greeting that requires interactivity to see the rest of the message or a personal love note that goes beyond just a set of text. As the video shows, users browse interactive greetings that are already generated and personal messages are delivered making each greeting unique.
Pinnatta is another example of how visual communications are breaking into our expectations in communications. Facebook, Path and other popular messaging mediums have already introduced stickers or other tools to provide the same effects. Because it’s more fun then just the usual text. And that’s what Pinnatta wants to do—making it a little bit more fun to send someone a message instead of writing the same old text messages.
