We’ve covered a few travel oriented social-media ideas over the past year, such as Tripl.com – a social platform for travel, and TravelJournal – an intuitive and up to the moment geo-related information outlet to give everyone useful resources about their current travel local. Today we wanted to share another travel oriented idea that is set to launch a new version: Tourist Eye – a personalized travel guide for every traveler that helps you in all phases of the trip: get inspired and decide your destination, plan the trip and then access all the information while traveling from your iPhone or Android 100% offline.
Tourist Eye is a web and mobile companion that you will rely on when planning your next adventure, or so we think. With the new Tourist Eye you will now be able to access much more destinations (60,000+), more hotels (120,000 worldwide) and enjoy it all within a beautiful and intuitive new user interface. To accompany the brand new facelift, Tourist Eye is coming with a hand-crafted recommendation engine that becomes customized to each traveler. The recommendation engine provides suggestions on destinations, hotels, restaurants and other items essential when planning your travels. All the suggestions become even more intuitive as you further interact with the Tourist Eye Guide.
What we really like is how the easy to use the new Trip Planner will be. From drag-and-drop interaction and an easy to understand / navigate platform, Tourist Eye will come in handy when you’re going through bookmarking a backpacking adventure in Europe or a family vacation long the French Riviera. The Trip Planner also integrates with the new Recommendation Engine and intertwines with your Twitter and Facebook accounts to let your friends provide suggestions on your travel plans.
Check out the Tourist Eye and its new features, they are set to be initiated today!
