Tagplay lets you update your website using your own social media profiles. You simply post something on your social media profile and use a hashtag to control which content goes where on your website.
How It Works
You can update your site updating Facebook Page Info and gather user generated content through hashtags. At the same time Tagplay is making it a lot easier for web developers to make a website (backend-as-a-service) that their clients can easily update.
Make a rule-based feed
Create rule-based content routing formulas using their wizard or formula box. Use all content posted on a social media account or selectively pick content using hashtags in formulas.
Your Feed
Connect your social media accounts or e-mail addresses and make a formula. E.g. “When mybusiness posts #tag send to a feed on my website.”
User-Generated Feed
Pick a hashtag or hashtags allowing other users with public accounts to contribute to a feed through content on Instagram and Twitter. E.g. “When anyone posts #tag on Instagram send to a feed on my website.”
Facebook Page Info
Use Facebook Page info to update info on your website such as your phone number, opening hours, etc. When you update your Facebook Page info it automatically syncs with your website and keeps your info up-to-date.
You can also pick certain public accounts on Instagram or Twitter that contribute to your feed through hashtags. E.g. “When justinbieber or selenagomez posts #tag on Instagram send to a feed on my website.”
Integrate into a website
Simply copy and paste a code for the the feed you made onto a website. For more advanced customization, use their API. You can easily copy and paste the code to WordPress, tumblr, Blogger, Drupal, HTML+JS, Weebly, Squarespace, WIX, etc.
Website owners add content using social media and email
Website owners add new content to their website by activating the formula the developers made using the #tag they choose on social media/email to trigger the formula.
Facebook
Add content to your website using your Facebook Profile or Facebook Page(s). You can also update info on your site using Facebook Page info.
Twitter and Instagram
Add content to your website using a #tag to send content from your social media account to your website. You can also let “anyone” with a public account, or only certain accounts, contribute content through a certain #tag.
Email
Add content to your website using email. Specify in your formula which email addresses should be allowed to send to a certain feed, or allow anyone who knows the address. Add content by putting a certain #tag in the subject to activate the formula, entering your content into the body of the email, and sending it to *@m.tagplay.co.
Have full control
Easily remove and update content within social media or on Tagplay
You can also always remove all content from your website through Tagplay. You can even ban certain users from contributing content to a user-generated feed. Within Tagplay you can have multiple admins for projects and feeds. You can also choose whether to require user-generated posts to be approved before they appear in the feed.
